Father's Day and More

I asked Paul if he had a good Father's Day - in his usual excess of words, it was "very nice". We had a good time. The older kids met us a Abeulo's since they spent the day at their mom's. After dinner, we went home for cake and presents. The kids presented him with Lego Rock Band, a sandwich iron for the fire pit, plus plenty of jeans and shirts for the trip.

I've included a few fun videos featuring no other than Amelia (what a surprise). The child seems to really enjoy playing with a big green pickup truck. Wonder where she got that from?!?

Sunday night we joined Ken and Jennifer for a little bonfire fun. This gave Miss Me-Me a chance to work on her friendship with the Corgi puppy. Yes, it's "Puppy" until his new owner, Jennifer's brother (who arrived from Colorado today), is able to name him. Apparently, Corgi puppies are like stuffed animals but they chase you back.

Well, a certain little girl needs to go to bed.

Amelia's Birthday Party

I took a few minutes to put together shots from Amelia's first birthday party. I'd like to thank Kristen for taking pictures for me. I'd also like to thank Andrea for contributing her pictures as well. Enjoy!

For Amelia's First Birthday Party

Hi all,

We just had Amelia's first birthday party today. Unfortunately, she was a little cranky - maybe too much shopping yesterday?

I asked Kristen and her friend Autumn to design a slideshow that we played on the laptop during the party. I am enclosing it with the promise of pictures of her party later in the week. Several folks were taking photos, so I will compile the ones I get into a single post and get them out to you. The last few slides of the enclosed slideshow cover her actual birth day at home last Wednesday.

Enjoy!

Teri

Celebrations

It seems like we've been attending celebrations. We attended Charlie's first birthday party. His mother works in the cube next to mine and Cara's mom works over the cube wall from me. Charlie contemplated his Elmo cupcake for quite a while before trying the frosting.

Amelia has been enjoying the rocking chair given to her by Oma Rose. The rocker was my mom's when she was little. Amelia enjoys making it play music and loves to stand in the seat any time we aren't watching close enough.

On the 28th, we had a small party for Kristen's 17th birthday at home. The next morning Kristen, Jennifer, Cindra and I went for a much needed trail ride. On the 30th, we celebrated Memorial Day in Enon with the annual parade.

Although not a celebration, Paul, Amelia and I went to Columbus today after church and wound up at Schmidt's Sausage Haus for lunch.

Gotta get to bed,

Teri
