Ready for Pastor Mark's Sermon

Hi All,

Amelia went to her first drive-in movie on Saturday. We saw the new Transformers movie and the Star Trek prequel. She managed to sleep her way through several inter-galactic wars as well as the horn honking of the other patrons.

She also attended her first church service on Sunday. Here is a picture of her practicing sleeping through Pastor Mark's sermon. Practice makes perfect - she was quiet the whole time.

Firsts and feeding

Hi all,

I thought you might enjoy a picture of Amelia's first bath at home and her first video game.

My milk isn't coming in as well as we'd like, so we are supplementing Amelia through cup feeding. The wine tasting glass from the Cochem wine festival works about the best, but of course we had to try the Tennessee Vols shot glass, just to be sure.

Meet the baby picture site

Hi all,

The professionals at the hospital who took Amelia's pictures have a website where you can see the 8 shots they took. Of course, they also want you to purchase your favorite pose from them. :-)

Here's the site:

Picture of Teri as requested

Here is the latest picture of Teri as requested by several family members.

Paul

Done for Now

Hi All,

Well, I can't figure out how to take a straight picture of these cabinets, but let me assure you, Paul and I spent plenty of time today making sure they are straight and level. We finally had time to put the knobs on and hang the towel rod too. So we are "done for now". Eventually, we will connect the baseboard that goes with the cabinets and put up the trim, but that's all in the future. We have a pretty, functional bathroom and that's important to us as we near the baby's due date.

The specifics: - horse themed towels given as wedding presents that I'm finally getting to use (we were married nearly 8 years ago)
- 6 cabinets from IKEA, 3 on the bottom that are 42" high, 3 on top are 30" high, left and right set are 15" wide, middle set is 24" wide with 2 - 12" doors
- a robe hook to hold Paul's towel (another set given to us some time ago)
- curved shower rod like they have in hotels (no it's not a bad picture this time) and, yes, a wonderful light over the shower (thanks Ken!).
