Five Months Old

Hi all,

Sorry it's taken me a while to post. Here's some photos from a couple of weeks ago. Amelia's first horseback ride was on 7 November. Henry is Cindra's three-year-old Appaloosa and about as steady as a horse gets. Amelia had a great time.

On the 10th, Amelia turned five months old and got her first vegetable, squash. Since then, she has had peas, green beans and sweet potatos.

Hopefully I will get my act together and post more often.

Watch Out

To all you local drivers,

Be careful. Kristen got her license yesterday. She will be driving my truck to school as needed, so beware!

We're happy and excited for her, now that she's reached this big step in growing up.

Halloween

For us, Halloween started Wednesday and carried through today, when I took the opportunity to get pictures of Amelia in her Halloween dress. On Wednesday, we went to AWANA in costume. Thursday, Amelia wore the dress I got pictures of her in on Sunday. Friday, Amelia wore the pumpkin outfit to school and the last high school game of the season. James got to wear his costume to school too. He was a Sleestack, from the Land of the Lost (or a creepy reptile-man, if you haven't seen the movie).

On Saturday, Amelia, Riley and I handed out candy. Riley and Amelia were in costume.
I saw one other unicorn, one with a rainbow colored mane and tail. The toddler wearing it was named... Amelia. No kidding!

Saturday, Kristen dressed up to help me hand out candy for a little while. Then she left to be in her high school play, Footloose. It's the 25th anniversary of the film this year. Paul, James and I went to the Sunday matinee performance. Amelia stayed with Ken and Jennifer. She might have tried to compete with the actors during the speaking parts, so we decided she should play at the barn instead.
